The number of people admitted to hospital for mental or behavioural issues because of cannabis rose from 651 to 1,003 between 2008/9 and 20011/12. Not surprising given that ‘Skunk’, the most commonly used form, is 8-23 times as strong as the cannabis that was smoked in the 60’s and 70’s. (Addiction Today)
